Looking back I feel incredibly fortunate to now own a truly comfortable SOFTIE Parachute. I only came across them by chance. I actually went to try two second hand parachutes I had seen advertised. Having tried these two, I was then offered the option of trying a NEW SOFTIE. Immediately the difference in comfort was staggering even without actually flying with it. Now having flown over 100 hours in the last year with this parachute I simply would not consider anything else. It is remarkably comfortable and you really hardly know you are wearing it. The Service offered by Marjorie Hobby was absolutely first class, we were even loaned one for a competition prior to ours arriving from America. I am just under 6ft 3” tall (at 1.90m) and finding a parachute which provides adequate lower back support can be a problem. I have found the Softie Mini to be the most comfortable parachute of any that I have worn. Jon Bastin (E4)

I have been delighted with my Softie parachute in all respects. I have had it for 9 months and a full soaring season. It has proven more comfortable and created more headroom in a tight Ventus 2A cockpit than my preceding parachute. I'm sure it would work well if needed and my two (larger) syndicate partners have been equally happy with it. To top it all, my 8 week old daughter got to lie on it during her first play in a glider.
